Here’s a checklist of things to think about when designing your website:

1. Color Palette

Colors are powerful tools for communicating messages.

They can convey different emotions and feelings, and they influence your brain’s response to information. When choosing a color palette for your website, try to choose complementary colors that best describe your brand visually.

2. Use Contrasting Colors

Contrasting colors make content stand out from background. It helps users to break down and digest content easily.

However, too much contrast may cause eye strain. Try to avoid using high contrast backgrounds on websites unless absolutely necessary.

3. Match Font Styles

Font styles give your site personality and tone.

Be careful not to overuse bold or italic typefaces, though. Avoid using font styles that are too small or too large. Also, try to avoid using more than 3 fonts within a single page; instead, stick to a maximum of two typeface per page.
